Hi all.
Can EVERYONE share this around:
"Three hawks stolen from Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre
Three birds of prey have been stolen from a conservation centre near Balloch in West Dunbartonshire.
Two male Harris hawks and one male red-tailed hawk were taken during a break-in at the Loch Lomond Birds of Prey Centre and Loch Lomond Garden Centre.
Police said the theft took place between 03:30 and 04:30. Those responsible are believed to have made off in a car.
Officers were checking CCTV and have appealed for witnesses.
Det Sgt Martin Penny of Dumbarton Police Office said: "Extensive inquiries are ongoing in the local area to gather more information on this crime, those responsible and the car that they made off in.
"Officers are also currently studying CCTV footage to establish more details on this crime.""
I know this centre well...If there are bird of prey pictures in my gallery, they are all birds from this centre...You can see how well-cared for and how content these birds are...Many have had bad owners in the past and are now thriving at the Centre. It is so CRUCIAL for these birds to be returned to the Centre's care.
So even if you're not Scottish...even if you're not even British, PLEASE share. PLEASE remain vigilant. I know these birds, and I don't want to see anything happen to them.
